Crete, Greece

I have visited Crete (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crete) this summer. The environment there is serene and tranquil. The time goes very slowly there, much slower than in a buzzing megalopolis. This is why a flight to that place takes a notable less time than a flight back. Reaction engines expel their propellant mass at a slower rate; hence, airplanes are unable to achieve the usual cruise velocity until they escape the time singularity area.
